40 HOUR TESOL £295

This is a fully accredited course at level 3 in the government's UK National Qualifications Framework, and is accredited by NFCE.

The overall aim of this course is to provide a sound understanding of the theory practice of teaching English to speakers of other languages.

The traditional way to get a TESOL/EFL qualification has always been to do a four week intensive course. The problem for most potential teachers is that this is simply not convenient, they simply do not have the available free time available. That is why we are now offering a 40-hour one week course.

What kind of jobs can you expect to get with this qualification? You can work in private language schools, training centres or assist students with language problems in state primary or secondary schools (CRB necessary).

The course has the advantage of having a practical element in which you will be teaching real students.

This course is divided into five sections.

1. In section one you will learn about how grammar and vocabulary are used in English.

2. Section two concentrates on English pronunciation and you will learn about phonetics, stress and intonation.

3. In section three you will learn about lesson planning and produce your own learning materials to help teach learners.

4. Section four will involve practical one-to-one teaching and a written report on your student's progress.

5.The final part of the course brings all the theory learnt together, to be used to teach a group of students.

This course is a great introduction to the TEFL/TESOL world, you'll get all you need to start your teaching career as well as a recognized formal qualification.

At the end of the course, if you have completed all 5 modules successfully you will receive a highly valued certificate at level 3 from NFCE.
