A BIT ABOUT US

English is sometimes described as the first global lingua franca and is the dominant language, or in some instances even the required international language of communications, science, business, aviation, entertainment, radio and diplomacy. Rapid acquisition of English proficiency is essential to compete in today’s global marketplace. For this very reason many schools take advantage of this need by charging exorbitant fees for mediocre instruction. At LBLC we believe that quality language education should be accessible to all at an affordable cost. To meet this goal, we continually educate ourselves in the latest and most effective teaching methods, while working hard to keep student costs as low as possible.

LBLC uses the communicative approach in all of its language courses. Students speak only English from the first day. Our classes are lively and focus on real communication. This makes learning English an interactive, rewarding and enjoyable experience.

Our classes are usually quite small, normally between 2-6 students. Small classes mean more personal attention for each student. Students improve quickly with many opportunities to communicate with classmates and their instructors.

LBLC is a small friendly language school based in Elephant and Castle (London Underground Zone 1). We started accepting students in April 2008. Most of our clients are EU students who live in the UK permanently or semi-permanently and take our flexible courses throughout the year, although we have many other client types.

We are very proud of the fact that many of our students not only come back to take more courses with us but also recommend us to their family and friends.
